Boosting your immunity will help protect against illness.  Further, there is evidence from the experts that adequate levels of vitamin D and Zinc can reduce your chances of getting the Covid virus.

An article in PubMed titled “Inadequacy of Immune Health  Nutrients:  Intakes in US adults, the 2005-2016 NHANES”  (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) provides results of some  26,000 US adults tested for inadequacies in some critical immune nutrients, namely, 46% were inadequate in vitamin A levels; 46% in vitamin C; 95% in vitamin D; 84% in vitamin E; and 15% with inadequate zinc.

Realizing the potential of micronutrients to stave off health issues, it is startling to see the degree of deficiencies in US adults.  Even more significant is the degree of deficiency in vitamin D, a nutrient promoted as helping one become less susceptible to Covid-19!

In light of these statistics, it eould seem folks would be well-advised to have a medical provider test their zinc and D3 levels.

If testing shows a need to supplement with vitamin D3, it is important to take a D3-K2 combination supplement.  In a November 24, 2020 article titled “Why Should I Take Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2” by Cesar Lara, Md., Dr. Lara notes that current research shows a synergistic effect when the two are taken together as it helps ensure calcium transported by vitamin D is absorbed by your bones rather than accumulating in deposits in your arteries.
